The End of Movies No One Should See?

This might be near the end of this blog run for several reasons:

1. The rampant amount of spam comments I’m getting is only throwing off number of actual blog hits I’m getting.  So I don’t know how many people I know are reading my blog.  Not that it matters, but it’s throwing off my pressure of trying to watch more movies (something that’s gone down as the year has progressed.  Just the ebb and flow of life).

2. YouTube disabled my account.  Yeah, no more of me uploading youtube clips.  Here’s what I don’t understand; I’m not making any money from this site.  None at all.  There are no ads because most of them are spams that are getting blocked.  Now, I’m giving the shows/movies free advertisement by talking about them.  Fox didn’t like me having Arrested Development up on youtube; you know, the first few minutes of the pilot that they canceled the show several years ago.  I know it’s there show, I was only promoting it.  Oh well.  - Of course this means that my Family Guy Top 10 list is no longer active.  Sorry.

3. Movie reviews are a dime a dozen in the internet age.  You don’t need me to tell you what you should watch and not watch.  IF there’s an outcry (which I imagine there won’t be considering I haven’t posted any actual reviews in over a month), I’ll start posting again.

Thanks for the ride, it was fun.

    Robby,
I’m hoping that this is just a little speed bump for you. Why stop writing when you can just neglect the hell out of your web page for a while like I do?

You’re a funny guy and that’s why I keep the feed going. My job isn’t really allowing me the time or energy to do much more but it always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing there are still soldiers out there writing into the ether.

So, there were a couple of reasons not to stop, let me wrangle out a couple more:

    1) Family Guy is in full syndication now, where it will surely grow into a Simpson-like phenom and there is a need for someone to continue pointing it out to all of us thaqt don’t get it.

    2) Someday, somehow, Pauly Shore will make another movie, and you need to be there to put it up on a stick and beat the stuffing out of it.

    3) I know you can figure out other ways to get new video since the youtube nazi’s shut you down, and then you can really start pissing off(on) the networks.

    4) If you quit, then the terrorists have won.

Okay, that was a little lame, but really, I think you get it.

Step back from the ledge my friend. Nothing’s over, ever. Somewhere out there, someone could drag up my old AOL homepage if they wanted to.

I just found your site after doing an unrelated google search and stumbling upon your (fantastic) Troy review. I’m kind of sad to hear that you won’t be posting much anymore because your reviews are great, as is your sense of humor.
